AK1200 (Big Riddim Recs, Planet of the Drums - Florida)
The longest running D&B DJ in the USA. Member of the infamous Planet of the Drums crew. Founder of Big Riddim Recordings. Dave, AK1200, has been a driving force within Drum and Bass culture in America since its inception. From his legendary mix CD's to his extensive list of high profile remixes and original tunes, he has maintained a presence within the scene for more than 20 years. For lack of a better term, AK is a "classically" trained DJ, mixing live for each crowd. Every set is unique and completely dependent on what gets the best reaction from the floor that night.
In a time where the EDM scene has completely reinvented itself, AK1200's explosive sets have been spreading the fever to a whole new fan base. These new fans, hungrier than ever for the absolute best in electronic music, are steadily looking not for their house, but for their home. Once they hear "the one" set that changes everything, they will have found it. AK1200 plays those sets, trust! And D&B will become your home, it always does.

Calculon (Rubik, Good Looking Recs - SD)
Following up from Calculon's breakthrough single with Pawn and Christina Tamayo on LA's SMOG Records, 2013 is set to be a big year for the California native. His debut EP is set to come out on Loose Squares, the standout label from Chicago, and already has been garnering heavy DJ support from scene leaders such as Om Unit at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona, and Chrissy Murderbot on Boilerroom. Other upcoming releases will appear on labels such as Nookie's Phuzion, IM:LTD, Good Looking, Liquid Geometry, and a 2nd EP project on Calculon's Rubik Records which will feature not only collaborations with some of America's brightest producers such as Quadrant, Homemade Weapons, and Sinistarr, but also features a remix from Loxy.
The fall 2012 European Tour with Dave Owen showed Calculon's strength as a dj that can adapt to dancefloors from New York City to Madrid, from Athens to London's legendary club Fabric. The last few years have seen this dj perform farther and farther away from home, and 2013 will see Calculon playing new venues across America, Europe, and beyond. His label Rubik Records continues to go from strength to strength, and several vinyl releases are lined up starting from the beginning of the year onward.
