Illusion of Self (headliners)
Illusion of Self is a rock & roll band formed by Frank Salazar, Miles Deiaco, and Raymond Jones. They blend the vibe and tones of classic 60’s and 70’s rock with an aggressive, emotional, feel of the 90’s while remaining modern and progressive. The vocals capture the audience with a slightly bluesy yet over-driven attack. Miles’ sultry low end on the bass lays a firm foundation for the intense array of guitar sounds. Raymond’s (Random Mysticks) intricate and hard hitting drum patterns force the audience to listen up and move around. This 3 piece trio came up out of San Francisco and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I AM ANIMAL (official live debut)
“How nice it is to take up a familiar sound again,” says I Am Animal, “and draw new lines from the traditional mouth.” A sound you think could be equal parts lighthouse and alleyway, tides surging and nightmares thudding. Or a story told with indelicate layerings of guitars, synthesizers rumbling and voices trembling with urgency. I am Animal is composed of Daniel Clark, Ryan
Joseph, and Charles Scheinblum.
Holden Pumphrey (fine art opening of “falling out”)
The professional arts career of Holden began in writing and painting, but she does not subscribe to any single media. Current projects include rock’n’roll photography/videography, a book-length poem manuscript entitled Catamaran, and a post-modern study of calligraphy.
Past work includes: movie stills for Rob Nilsson’s feature film The Steppes; multimedia painting collaboration with artist Jason Grohman; graphic design for political and literary magazines; electronic projection installation; the co-edited (with Aaron Selverston) bookscape Leviathan; fashion productions and creative direction. Holden
was recently the AD for a short fashion film for
the San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network.
Maggie Hurley (whimsy & whatnot)
Maggie Hurley is most content with a paintbrush in her hand. Her work focuses largely on natural themes: from whimsical robots to stoic birds, she hopes to draw attention to the beauty in the world around us that is often taken for granted.
Andrew Lawrence (gentleman scholar signs)
Andrew Lawrence is a tradition hand-painted sign maker who uses various aspects of his environment to reflect the the drama and the doldrums, the highs – the lows and in-betweens. Each sign is made with respect to the tradition of the craft while looking forward to further the art. He also takes requests.
The Goods Bake Shop (yummy raw treats)
Chef Araceli Espinoza’s slogan is “love and light in every bite”. Her mission is to help

people heal from the inside out with treats that make you feel as good as they taste. She hopes to inspire others to make healthy choices with their diet and encourages healing from within with proper nutrition.
